CARS MEETING MINUTES
Thursday, October 9, 2026

Meeting opened at 7:00 PM w/Pledge by President Paul Krahmer
Introductions of club officers, members, and visitors were made.

Committee Reports

• Secretary Report:  Minutes are posted on the club website. Accepted without correction.
• VE Team: No session since last meeting.
• EMCOM/Public Service: Hurricane in the gulf headed for the panhandle. Florida emergency management is making preparations. SERT TRAC website is being replaced by FLEX.
• Repeater Committee: New repeater controller has been received. Work is in progress to connect it to the repeater transceiver. Echolink is up and running reliably. $567.96 was spent for the new controller.
• IT Committee Report: Up and running on Google Workspace. Google drive available for sharing information. Let Ron, N2SKH, know if your password needs to be reset. Club email addresses have been configured to forward messages to personal email addresses.
• Net Report: No longer a formal net. Weekly rag chew for now.
• Treasurer Report:  Treasurer report was provided and approved, current balance $6,923.44. Current membership is 52. An audit needs to be scheduled.

New Business:

• Nominations for upcoming elections can be sent to the nominating committee, Mike, K4HN, Bruce, N4BCK, or Bruce, K2BSH.
• Ron, N2SKH, gave a presentation on SDR radios.
• 50-50 winner was Gerry, WR6N.
