CARS MEETING MINUTES

Thursday, January 8, 2026

Meeting Opened at 7:03 PM w/Pledge by President Paul Krahmer

Introductions of club officers, members, and visitors were made.

Committee Reports

• Secretary Report:  Minutes are posted on the club website. Accepted without correction.
• VE Team: No testing since last meeting.
• EMCOM/Public Service: An Auxcomm class is scheduled in Orlando at Hamcation.
• Repeater Commitee: Tarpon Springs repeater and Echolink are up and working.
• Net Report: Need more net controllers. 4 to 5 check-ins each week.
• Treasurer Report:  Treasurer report was provided and approved, current balance $7,134.04. Current membership is 47.

• None

New Business:

• Presentation by Ron, N2SKH, on new CARS IT Committee.
• Motion for $200 budget for Winter Field Day was made by Mike, K4HN. Seconded by Jeff, NE4C. Passed unanimously. 
• Presentation by Ryan, AF4O, about Winter Field Day.
• 50/50 Drawing: Won by Jeff, NE4C.
