Meeting Opened at 19:08 w/Pledge by President Paul Krahmer
Introductions of club offices, members, and visitors were made.

Committee Reports

• Secretary Report: Minutes are posted on the club website. Accepted without
  correction.
• VE Team: No candidates.
• EMCOM/Public Service: It’s hurricane season, so stay aware of weather. AUXCOMM class in Naples September 29th. Statewide drill coming in October.
• Repeater Committee: Echolink being set up for the Tarpon Springs club 440 repeater by Bruce, N4BCK. Needed hardware is a mini PC and a Signalink interface. Hardware will cost less than $300. Ron, N2SKH, made a motion to spend up to $350 for the hardware. Chris, KA4UPC, seconded the motion. There were no objections. The motion passed. There are four volunteer net controlers: Gerry Pollack, WR6N, Orin Ebersold, K4OLE, Sandy Funderberg, NA9Y and Steve Foy, N4FOY. Nets will be at 7:30 PM on Wednesdays. Orin will be the net controller lead. 2 meter repeater plans are on hold for now.
• Treasurer Report:  Treasurer report was provided and approved, current balance $7,657.38. Repeater fund set aside is $640.

  • Chris, KA4UPC, gave a presentation on his experience in broadcast radio.
  • 50/50 Drawing, Gerry, WR6N and Ron, N2SKH were the winners
