CARS MEETING MINUTES
Thursday, June 11, 2026

Meeting Opened at 7:00 PM w/Pledge by President Paul Krahmer
Introductions of club officers, members, and visitors were made.

Committee Reports

• Secretary Report:  Minutes are posted on the club website. Accepted without correction.
• VE Team: Four new Technicians passed their tests.
• EMCOM/Public Service: Equipment maintenance for hurricane season in progress. The EOC is still unavailable due to fire suppression system upgrades.
• Repeater Committee: Still awaiting access to the Tarpon Springs repeater site.
• IT Committee Report: Reviewing club membership roster to update email distribution list.
• Net Report: No longer a formal net. Weekly rag chew for now.
• Treasurer Report:  Treasurer report was provided and approved, current balance $7,735.14. Current membership is 44. An audit needs to be scheduled.

Old Business

• None.

New Business:

• Motion from Tom, NY4I, to approve $200 for Field Day food budget. Seconded by Alex, N7BSA. Passed by the members present.
• Michael, KU4QO, discussed test equipment he would like to donate to a worthy group.
• Technician test question pool will be changing on July 1st.
• Tom, NY4I, gave a presentation on upcoming Field Day.
• Linda, VA3LJB, won the 50/50 raffle.
• Ben Davis won the Kenwood HF transceiver.
